To work at Madison and Wall, a successful candidate doesn’t necessarily need prior experience as an analyst or advertising industry professional. Although financial analysis skills, industry knowledge and academic credentials are all very positive considerations, it’s more generally important to be endlessly curious and passionately interested in developing and articulating world-class, data-driven industry expertise. Good English-language writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel are also essential as is an interest in experimenting with new technologies to improve productivity.
Responsibilities will include the following activities:
· Monitoring and analyzing industry news, securities filings, government data reports and other simliar sources of information
· Developing and/or maintaining company-specific and industry-level revenue models or other data-sets that help to explain industry trends
· Writing and publishing research based on those models and on other news-flow
· Managing digital publishing and related content management activities
· Supporting work on consulting and advisory projects
· Development of new products and offerings for clients
More specific responsibilities and remuneration will depend largely on a candidate's background (including professional experience, education, training and skill level) and the degree to which they can support or direct revenue-generating activities. In that context, annual base pay for this role for a US-based employee may range from USD$75,000-$150,000. Additional incentive compensation may be earned based on performance.
Health insurance (including medical, dental and vision coverage) and access to a 401k savings account will be available for US-based employees.
Expectations for travel will depend on a candidate’s capabilities, interests and geographic location, but won’t be more than occasional under any likely circumstance. The position will be primarily remote.
